UPDATE: 3/18/15 The Search for the Hidden Door is now in print again for the first time in 35 years! Buy it here!

Hello beautiful people. It was exactly a year ago yesterday since I obtained a copy of this book. I promised to my friends on this site I would make the book available in the members area. Well I have hit a stall, so I have decided to post it this way. The book is in perfect condition, so I can't risk damaging it by scanning it. So I decided to take some photos of it, 157 to be exact. It's not finished yet, and please copywrite Gods, please do not smite me for this. It is an impossibly hard to find book and its not fair it is hidden from so many people. I will be publishing it publicly for research purposes here on my blog. But for now all that you get is the foreword, which is attached in this post. This isn't the most convenient way or the highest quality way to post the book, but hey... It's all ya got! Without further adieu... Drum roll....

UPDATE: 3/18/15 The Search for the Hidden Door is now in print again for the first time in 35 years! Buy it here!
___________________________________________________________________

I recently obtained an original copy of the increasingly rare out-of-print book The Search for the Hidden Door by Marshall N Lever. The book was published in 1981, and follows the diary and series of realizations by the author Marshall N. Lever during his sessions with the Chung Fu. Much of the information is not necessarily new concepts since it was one of the first books published about the "Old Chinese" philosophy. If you were/are a student of Chung Fu, Stuart Wilde, Khris Krepcik, or any derivative of "Old Chinese" you will probably be familiar with most of the teachings. Nonetheless the book is worth obtaining and it offers a deeper understanding of the philosophy and history.

Here Marshall first introduces the concept of the Nature Self (the natural you that flows effortlessly like an animal: The instinctual human side of your psyche.), which is the basis of many of Stuart Wilde's books, Geof Spaldings 33rd Sage series, and Chung Fu's own book Under the Plum Tree edited by Marjorie Giles. To the best of my knowledge this book is the beginning of the publications in regards to Chung Fu with the exception of personal jottings, diaries, or other publications I have not been able to locate.

The purpose of this blog post is to share some of the contents online because it is becoming increasingly hard to obtain a copy, and the information is not readily available. I am limited as to what I can share because I want to respect the current copyright laws, but what I can share will be beneficial and it will bring you one step closer to "knowing" the books contents. Nothing can replace owning a physical copy but for now this is all ya got!

Lets begin with a detailed list of the chapters, something you will not be able to find elsewhere on the web, and I am happy to be the first to share! Each chapter begins with the chapter title and a quote from "An Old Sage." Which is presumably direct words of Chung Fu. If you missed my blog post before last I talk about the correct pronunciation and meaning of Chung Fu. I clarify a few misconceptions that will help you better understand; if you wish to read it please click here.

EPILOGUE

The book is fairly short with only 147 pages and 9 chapters, and much of it is wrote in a nontraditional way such as a diary format, thoughts, and etc. Below I have attached some photos of the books contents. I will continue to write about this book as the weeks go on. I am currently reading this book along with two others, The 33rd Sage. A Modern Fable, and Under the Plum Tree by Chung Fu. I will incorporate what I learn into the upcoming articles and hopefully this will give you a better insight into the philosophy, along with a clearer picture of the unveiling of the wisdom that is "Old Chinese."

As always, thank you for reading and visiting my blog. Stay tuned. The Truth Awaits.

UPDATE: 3/18/15 The Search for the Hidden Door is now in print again for the first time in 35 years! Buy it here!

If you are on the Journey for "Inner Truth" then you will probably be familiar with the Hidden Door. For those of you who are not familiar, this article may make little sense. But the Hidden Door is not really all that hidden. It is in broad daylight in nearly every continent in the world. It exists 24/7 and is so humble you may not even notice it as you walk by.

For reasons unannounced I will not directly state exactly what the Hidden Door is, simply because it is your own personal responsibility to discover it. But to offer a slight nudge in the right direction, the Hidden Door is more terrestrial than one might believe.

You could climb the vine leading into other dimensions where ego is left behind, back inside the world from which you came. Through the jungle of fear rests a world hidden without the chaos of the human intellect. Here you can rest and gently drift into the infinity of creation, free from your own insecurities and limitations.

The Hidden Door has been discovered by many great people throughout history, but it has also been discovered by the most unknown and humble people you have never heard of. To be "great" often involves the competition of humanity, to be humbled requires nothing more than interest outside of thyself.

The search for the Hidden Door is the first step. Maybe you feel there is a "splinter in your mind" that you just can't seem to explain. Maybe you feel you live in a world full of illusion, deception, and feel everyone around you is playing a silly and immature charade we call life.

Needless to say, you are here reading my website, and therefore it was your destiny to be here, right now. You may skim through and not even bother to dig any deeper, and perhaps the roots to your solution are left undug.

But for the very small percentage who "feels" it is their destiny to learn more, your prayers will be answered. You will find the solution to these questions. I do not feel it is my responsibility to hand it over to you, most want life delivered on a platter. We do not live in a fair world. We don't have a level playing field, but the great thing about a field is it is open for play, to all who declare themselves in. Your solution may be right there under your feet.

The riddle of the Hidden Door is that of the Holy Grail and many other legends passed down since the dawn of mankind.

We as a modern society have became clouded by the rustle and bustle of the chaos of the world ego. We no longer have to rely on our atavistic qualities we once expressed while surviving in the forests. If you want to find the Hidden Door, stop relying on "thinking" and switch to "feeling."  Logic and intellect relies on all the things the mind already knows and can piece together with facts and evidence.

Feeling allows you to discover the things the intellect cannot possibly know.

Intuition and spirit.
Relationships with creation.
Teachers that can't speak.
Students that can't ask questions.
Answers that are not heard.

Feeling your way.
Sideways, not up.

Step through the Hidden Door.

Regards,

A.J.
