UPDATE: 3/18/15 The Search for the Hidden Door is now in print again for the first time in 35 years! Buy it here!
Okay this is starting to really get fun. Last night I had a new member join the site looking for this rare book. The lady was asking if I had a copy for sale, and unfortunately I told her no I do not. The only copy I have is in the library of "Old Chinese" which is my personal library that I am creating for students and teachers of Old Chinese. But I did tell her I have someone typing it into a PDF document, but that will not be completed for sometime. Sometime later I fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night and I had another email from her. She sent me the attached photo of the book. She was ecstatic! She found a copy that she had stored away someplace in her house. So the book she was seeking all along was already in her presence but either she didn't know it was there or forgot about it! Very cool either way. That book is worth its weight in gold, and not to mention the power of the knowledge inside is invaluable.
I hope she doesn't mind me sharing this little story, but it was just too cool to not make public. And not to mention she has a copy that I didn't even know existed. The copy I have does not look anything like the picture she sent me. But I look forward to all of the other interesting things other students of Old Chinese have to share. If you are reading this and you have anything of value to contribute, please join the site and contribute what ever you can. A contribution can be anything from a photo of one of these rare books, to scanned copies of documents, or generous donations that help sustain this community. All I ask is you become involved in this wonderful community and help spread the words of wisdom that is simply known as "Old Chinese."
Peace and Prosperity to all. (AJ)
Currently Known Books Related to the Teachings of Old Chinese / Chung Fu
This list is not completely exhausted. There are numerous books written by Stuart Wilde that are indirectly related to the teachings of "Old Chinese," but these books listed are directly related by name and mention. I would imagine it would be nearly impossible to have a complete list due to the nature of Chung Fu's teachings are secretive and passed down through oral tradition. So a complete list could potentially contain thousands of books. These books are simply the one's I currently know that are directly related. And if I am missing one, that's where you come in. Shoot me an email and teach me something that I didn't know! firstname.lastname@example.org
